The brackets themselves are great but the quality of the nuts and bolts was HORRIBLE. Several of the nuts and bolts got stuck half way through tightening them and I could not loosen nor tighten them further. I had to use an angle grinder to cut the bolts off. Really disappointing for the price of such a simple product.

It's easy to install but the bolts often seizes/locks up and won't allow any turning so I had to cut the bolt. It has already happened twice. I was advised to brush the bolts with wire brush upon first use which I will try next time but shouldn't have to do this. It would also be nice if the mounting bracket had some way of securing to prevent theft of the iKamper.

I have a Thule Xsporter rack that I’m using for the Skycamp RTT. The included mounting brackets were slightly too small so these brackets were required. The bolts that came with this set were not usable. The nuts tightened varying amounts before seizing. Then they would not back off. All of the bolts broke when I tried to remove them. iKamper customer support is nonexistent and I still have had no luck in getting a response of any kind.
